Class of 2020 Post Prom Party Information

JOIN THE CLASS OF 2020 DALLASTOWN SENIOR CLASS POST PROM PARTY FACEBOOK PAGE 

  • ATTENTION PARENTS: Annual Party (organized and hosted by the Senior Parent Party Committee)

     

    • The annual party is an after-prom party. The party is typically an all-night event where the students are expected to remain for the duration of the party.

       

    • The first meeting for those interested in assisting with this party will be held on SEPTEMBER 25, 2019 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.

 

The party requires the time, planning and effort of parents of the senior class.  Starting in September, planning begins for this big event.  Parents-- please start thinking about this now and consider volunteering as a chair or committee member for any of the following positions:

Overall Party Chairperson(s)—Works with the chairs to coordinate all committee efforts and is the sole liaison to the senior class advisors for any information.

 

  • Fundraising Chair and committee members- Coordinates fundraising events for the senior class. Classes in the past have raised between $10,000-$20,000.
  • Entertainment Chair and committee members- Coordinates the evening’s entertainment- DJ, pool tables, video games, hypnotist, games, etc.
  • Decorations Chair and committee members- Establishes a theme for decorating the cafeteria and lobby. Decorates the day of the party.
  • Food Chair and committee members- Organizes the food purchases and donations, then coordinates food drop off and delivery.
  • Chaperones and Clean-up Chair and committee members- Develops a schedule of parent chaperones for the evening’s events, plus organizes clean-up efforts after the party ends.

 Specific meeting dates for the senior parent party committee are as follows:

                           September 25, 2019               March 16, 2020

November 12, 2019                April 20, 2020

January 7, 2020                     

 

All meetings will be held in the high school cafeteria at 7:00 p.m. and will need to end promptly at 8:00 p.m.  Each committee will need to reserve additional meeting times outside of these dates at locations and times of their choosing.  These meetings serve as a time for all parents to get together to be updated on each committee’s progress.
