What is DAHSMBA?
Dallastown
Area High School Music Booster Association (DAHSMBA) is a charitable
organization which includes the music directors at Dallastown Area High
School and volunteer parents/guardians of students who participate in
the musical performance groups. The performance groups are Concert Band,
Symphonic Band, Marching Band including Bandfront, Wind Ensemble, Jazz
Band, Concert Choir, Girls' Chorus, Orchestra, and String Ensemble.
Please consider becoming a member of the Dallastown High School Music Boosters Association (DAHSMBA).
Membership is annual, and a new form should be submitted each year.
Dues are just $10 per family. Your dues money really does make a
difference in what we can do for the kids. By becoming a member
and providing your e-mail address, you will receive information during
the year which includes reminders pertaining to our fundraisers . You will also receive reminders about and changes in scheduled band events .
One
of the best benefits of membership is getting a weekly email with the
upcoming events, including report, performance, & dismissal times,
notifications of changes in schedules or events, and basically
everything that your student *should* be bringing home for you! ;)
Join us, we really have a lot of fun, and your support is invaluable in the success of our students!

Be a Volunteer!
We are in need of parents to volunteer for marching band events.
The fall band schedule is very busy with 17 scheduled events!
Would you please consider helping with one or more events?
PA Clearances are required for some positions, but we can help you through this process.

- Uniform Committee -- Please contact Sharon Sallisky at [email protected]. Help is needed for uniform fittings. We're also looking for someone to learn the ropes and be the uniform chairperson next year (2017-18).
- Football Concessions -- Please contact Leanne Schweitzer at [email protected] or Tom Godfrey ([email protected]) for concession stand volunteering and information.

The Music Booster meetings have been scheduled in the High School Band Room, 288, @ 7:00PM for the following dates:

Other opportunities to volunteer during the school year will be discussed at the meetings.
