Chemistry Department

Dallastown Area High School offers two different levels of first-year chemistry (Chemistry and Honors Chemistry) as well Advanced Placement Chemistry (a second-year course). Each course places an emphasis upon developing problem solving skills and applying the scientific method. The goal of any course in chemistry is to teach students to learn how to identify problems, gather the appropriate data, organize and analyze this information, and draw appropriate conclusions.
