General Science Faculty

General Science is taken by the majority of DAHS students in grade 9 (a few students elect to take it in grade 8). It is offered at both CCR and honors levels. This course is an introduction to the principles of chemistry and physics, with special emphasis given to their relationship to the biological sciences. It is designed to provide the chemical basis for the grade 10 Biology experience. This course along with Biology will provide students with the necessary preparation to take the Biology Keystone Exam.
