Student Blood Drive

Thinking about giving this holiday season?  Think about giving the GIFT OF LIFEThe Student Blood Drive is Thursday December 19th from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Since the Central Penn Blood Bank is our sponsor all the blood donated will stay and be used by local hospitals.  There is always a shortage of blood, but levels drop exceptionally low around the holiday season. PLEASE CONSIDER!

Our school goal this year for the blood drive is 100 units of blood donated. This means we need you to really think about donating.  We understand that donating blood may be new concept for you, and that the fear of needles and sight of blood can be disturbing; think about donating at the same time with a friend for encouragement.  All students that participate will receive a T-shirt.  Faculty can and are encouraged to participate as well.  We have added a fourth blood mobile again this year to expedite your ability to get back to class.

  • Students must be at least 16 years old to donate and have a form of identification with them.
  • All students regardless of age must have a signed parent permission form to sign up.
  • Students must weigh at least 110 pounds.
  • Students participating in a Winter Sport may NOT donate this season.
Please see Mr. Gould in room 232 or Student Ambassadors: Christine Kwon and Sashi Nallapati for a permission slip or if you have any questions.
