Coaching Staff

Scott Austin 

Scott has been a Head Soccer Coach for 21 years and Dallastown's Head Varsity Coach since 2014.  Under Scott's leadership, the Dallastown Girls' Soccer team has either won the Division I YAIAA League or Division I YAIAA Tournament in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017. In 2015, he was named GametimePA's YAIAA Coach of the Year. Scott has trained and assisted many of his players with their recruitment to several Division I, II, and III schools.  He holds a NSCAA National Coaching Diploma and USSF National D license. He is a very disciplined coach and gets that background from serving four years of active duty in the United States Army.  He holds a B.S. in Business with an emphasis in management and marketing.   Scott has been married to Shawn Austin for 30 years and has three children, Spencer, Sierra and Sophia.

Jim O'Neill-Assistant Coach

Jim is the current Junior High Girls Head Soccer Coach. He has 12 years of coaching experience for FC York and the Dallastown Soccer Club. Jim is also a Dallastown soccer alumni.

Dan Mumford-Assistant Coach

Dan has been involved in soccer for nearly 45 years both as a player and a coach. He has coached for the last 10 years with various teams including the Springfield (Ohio) Youth Soccer Association (Rec and Club) and Poland (Ohio) Youth Soccer Association (Rec and Club).  Dan currently assists with the Junior High Girls Soccer team and FC Dallastown.

Megan Newmister-JV Coach

Meagan is a 2014 Dallastown alumus and currently attends Millersville University where she also played for the women's soccer team her freshman and sophomore year. As a four year varsity player and four year York-Adams County All-Star, Meagan helped lead Dallastown to county championships in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, she was Dallastown’s Girls’ Soccer Captain and in that same year, went on to be named Co-Player of the Year. She currently holds the Dallastown record of most goals scored and most career points.
